Roles & Permissions
Nuha Chat has three built-in roles. Each one controls what a user can see, edit, and send.
When to use this guide
Whenever you invite a new person or want to adjust someone's access.
Before you start
- Admin access to the workspace.
Step-by-step
- 1
Admin
Full access. Can connect WhatsApp, manage billing, edit automations, send broadcasts, invite team, and view all conversations.
- 2
Agent
Can view and reply to conversations they're assigned to (or all, depending on workspace settings), use templates, add contacts and tags. Cannot manage billing, integrations, or other users.
- 3
Viewer
Read-only access to dashboards and reports. Cannot reply or modify any data. Useful for managers and stakeholders.
- 4
Change a role
Settings → Team → click the user → choose a new role. Changes are instant and audited.
What happens next
Pair roles with auto-assign so the right people always see the right conversations.
Common issues
An agent can't see a conversation that was assigned to them.
Confirm their account status is Active under Settings → Team. Inactive users keep the role but lose access.
