Webhook retries and delivery history

What happens when your server is down, and how to see what was sent.

    Open Webhooks

    Under Developer, tap Webhooks. Each webhook shows Last (the last HTTP status and time) and its latest deliveries.

    Understand retries

    If your server does not answer with 2xx, we try again later: after 1, 5, 30, 120 and 360 minutes, as shown under How it works. After the last try the delivery is marked failed.

    Check a delivery

    Each line shows sent, failed or pending, the event name, the time and which try it was.

Tips

  • Delivery history is kept for 30 days.
  • If you switch a webhook off or remove it, deliveries still waiting are marked failed.

Something not working?

Deliveries keep failing

Tap Send test after fixing your server. Check that the URL is public and answers within 8 seconds.
